Sakura Winery and Las Positas Vineyards voted People’s Choice for Best Wines at the Tri-Valley Conservancy’s 15th Annual Uncorked Showcase

Tri-Valley Conservancy’s 15th Annual Uncorked Showcase Names People’s Choice Awardees

The Tri-Valley Conservancy (TVC) hosted its highly anticipated 15th Annual Uncorked Showcase on May 16, 2024, at the Bella Rosa Event Centre located at the picturesque Garré Winery. This signature event celebrated the region's rich wine culture, featuring 15 participating wineries and showcasing 30 award-winning Livermore Valley AVA wines.

This year marked an exciting first for the Uncorked Showcase: there were no formal judges. Instead, attendees had the opportunity to cast their votes for the People's Choice Awards. Mark Triska did the honors of announcing the showcase awardees to a crowd of nearly 300 wine enthusiasts, winemakers, and guests.

The title of the Best Red went to Sakura Winery  for their 2021 Tempranillo. For Best Rosé/White, the people voted for 2023 Verdelho by Las Positas Vineyards.

In another new addition to the event, guests had the chance to participate in a raffle, with prizes including a beautifully painted wine barrel by local Dublin artist Swati Rastogi, packages to experiences with local businesses, and award-winning photo prints from TVC's past photography competitions.

This year's event highlighted the enduring legacy of preserving land and viticulture heritage in the Tri-Valley, from its exceptional wines to its unique experiences and local artistry. The Tri-Valley Conservancy extends its deepest gratitude to event partners, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for their generous support and for contributing to the success of the 15th Annual Uncorked Showcase.
