Mark Triska grew up in Menlo Park on the peninsula and enjoyed the open space around the Palo Alto and Portala Valley hills.  He graduated with a degree in economics from Stanford University and got his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.  After working in Columbus IN for Cummins Engine Company and meeting his wife Maria there, he migrated back to the East Bay and worked for Hewlett Packard for 5 years while relocating to Livermore, where he has lived for the past 34 years.  For the past 31 years, Mark has worked for Colliers International as an Executive Vice President, specializing in industrial, office and retail commercial real estate in our Tri-Valley region.  Mark and Maria own and live at Triska Crane Ridge Vineyards, a Tri-Valley Conservancy property, where they are growing 10 acres of grapes exclusively for Darcie Kent Vineyards and have a 4.5 acre truffle orchard.  Mark understands the delicate balance required between open space and quality of life and economic development, and he hopes to help lead the TVC in making agriculture and ecotourism sustainable in the TriValley region.
