This beautiful 5,271 acre parkland is on the oak covered ridge overlooking Pleasanton and the Livermore Valley from the west. The park occupies Pleasanton Ridge and beyond. This loop hike provides an overview of what the park has to offer. The views are spectacular. The canyon side of the trails leads into the remote are of the park with open grassland, ponds, and wildflowers. A little history of early settlers comes to mind while walking among the perfectly preserve hundred-year-old olive groves.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm unless otherwise posted or permitted. 8am-7pm March through November
Staging are supports vehicles and horse trailers.
Tips:
There is one paved disabled parking and one wheelchair accessible portable toilet in the staging area. There is one picnic table that can accommodate two wheelchairs. The trails are more suitable for those who use electric wheelchairs.
