michael-princevalleMichael Princevalle served on Tri-Valley Conservancy’s Board as an at-large Director from 2001 – 2008.  Michael is currently serving on the Resource Development Committee and the Quest for Excellence Committee. Michael is an active member of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association, and a member of the Friends of the Vineyards.

Michael was born and raised on a family farm/vineyard in Modesto, CA. He graduated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Soils Science. He is a partner in Coastal Viticultural Consultants, a firm that provides technical support and management services to the viticulture industry in the Livermore and Napa/Sonoma areas. Michael and his business partner established and farm the vineyards at the Ravenswood Historical site located along Arroyo Road, Livermore. Michael has given many viticulture presentations to various educational and industry groups, and has been a judge for various wine competitions.

He has lived in Pleasanton since the late 1980s, and has been very involved in the community, particularly in the preservation of agricultural lands and wildlife habitat. In their limited spare time, Michael and his wife Nancy enjoy visiting and learning about different wine-growing regions and wineries in the Western US.
