Laura was born in Colorado. Her family moved to Livermore in 1978. Prior to joining Tri-Valley Conservancy she worked for 15 years as a Project Manager/Engineer, including 10 years at Boeing on the C17 Airlift System in Long Beach. She also consulted as a Project Manager for a wide range of companies including Environmental Education for Kids, Culldez Product Development, and Thermal Press International. In 1998 Laura moved back to Livermore to be closer to her family. She joined Tri-Valley Conservancy in December 2002 as Stewardship Director focusing on land stewardship. In 2011, Laura became the Executive Director of Tri-Valley Conservancy. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California-Irvine. In her free time, she loves taking her dog, Frankie, for walks in Sycamore Grove Park.
