Kristan was born and raised in the Central Valley, which is where her love of open space and protected lands hails from. After moving to the South Bay Area she became enamored with event coordination and management and completed her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality with a focus in the event management from San Jose State University. Kristan has been working in the event industry since 2008 and serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Catering & Events. In 2014 Kristan was in the Livermore Valley for a networking event when she fell in love with Livermore’s quaint downtown, wine country and open spaces. She and her husband began house shopping and bought a home in Livermore in 2015. Kristan is delighted to be able to combine her passion of events with her passion for open space and protected lands by working at Tri-Valley Conservancy. In Kristan’s spare time she loves to spend the weekends with her husband Paul and their dog on adventures in and around the beautiful bay area, whether that is hiking, going to the beach, camping, wine tasting, or barbecuing with close friends and family.
