Protect open space with a click! You can protect the Tri-Valley’s beauty forever
by capturing it in a photo that will help to preserve open space forever.

Photographers are invited to show us their view of the Tri-Valley’s beauty in our annual photography competition. What better way to show our fellow community members why these lands need to be protected than by showcasing their beauty through a photograph? The top photos will be exhibited across the East Bay to display your talent and the lovely lands of the Tri-Valley that connect our communities and enrich our lives.

In addition to our Adult Category, we’ve added a Youth Category open to students from 6th through 12th grades.

You can download the 2017 Freeze Frame flyer here or if you’d like to share the contest with a group of students you can download the Youth Category flyer here.

If you’d like to to take in the artistic, scenic beauty of the Tri-Valley that you help protect, you can see 2016’s top Freeze Frame photos here.

Awards & Celebration

Unique and amazing perspectives of open space across the Tri-Valley graced the walls during the opening exhibit and award ceremony for the Freeze Frame Photography 2016 competition. Attendees were among the first to see the new works of art that will help to protect more lands, celebrate local photographers and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres. Plus,  everyone who joined us had one more chance to cast another vote for People’s Choice!
